Beloved friend, mentor, humanitarian and brilliant attorney, John was Freshman Class President of 1968, and graduated as Salutatorian. He was a Big Brother, and later a member of the Board of Trustees. Graduating from Notre Dame Law School in 1971, he had an illustrious career with the firm of Streich, Lang and its successors in Phoenix, Arizona for 38 years, establishing a reputation as of one the preeminent bankruptcy attorneys in the country. He was a mentor to many young attorneys, a generous supporter of many, many charities and the recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award from Siena College. He made many lifelong friends, all of us who mourn his premature passing.
