Frank Altmann Manitowoc Herald Times April 6, 1942

Frank Altmann, 69, lifetime resident of the vicinity of Wayside and Hilbert died Saturday at a Green Bay hospital after having been ill for two weeks. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Armin Blauert, at Wayside, and at the Zion Lutheran church at Wayside. Burial will be in the Rantoul cemetery.
Mr. Altmann was born in Dodge County. He was a wagonmaker by trade, and had been living in retirement. He had resided with his son, Milford Altmann, at Forest Junction since the death of his wife ten years ago.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Blauert of Wayside, and Mrs. William Peterson and Mrs. Kenneth McFarlan of Milwaukee; and two sons, Milford of Forest Junction and Frank Jr., of Black Creek.
