Mr. McCall was born in Southport, N.C., on April 14, 1933, and was the son of the late Charlie and Annie Galloway McCall. He was a Tug Boat Captain and a commercial fisherman and a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ada Rivenbark McCall of Bolivia; two sons, Lynn McCall and Wade McCall both of Supply; his step-mother, Lovie McCall of Bolivia; a brother, Earl McCall of Supply, three sisters, Pauline Walton of Winnabow, Mildred Hensley of Supply and Barbara Hewett of Ash and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday June 28, 1991, at 12:30 p.m. at Gospel Center Baptist Church with the Rev. Toddi Fennell and Rev. R.C. Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in The Dixon Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dale Hewett, Donnie Hewett, Jerry Wayne Hewett, Billy Lancaster, Jay King and Robert Compton.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 this evening at the funeral home and other times from the home of Mr. McCall.
