Revolutionary War Soldier, Sergeant, Captain Spaulding's PA Militia.

He was the second son of Isaac and Patience Baldwin. He married Molly Fuller and they had eight children.

Thomas Baldwin was initiated February 24, 1794 into Union Lodge No. 30 F.&A.M. (Free and Accepted Masons), Newtown (now Elmira), New York.

On 23 November 1807, Thomas Baldwin of Newtown, County of Tioga executed a Power of Attorney to Waterman Baldwin "to receive all such sum or sums of money . . . which are now due and owing unto me the said Thomas Baldwin from the United States of America by means of my services rendered as a soldier and officer during the late Revolutionary War."

Will dated 11 January 1810 Athens, Lycoming County (Bradford County had not yet been formed) Pennsylvania. Adminstration at Newtown, Tioga County (that portion that is now Elmira, Chemung County), New York, 18 March 1811. Will named wife, Mary and children, Thomas Jr., Vine, George, Isaac, Morgan, Lucy Depuy, Mira Covel, and Hannah Baldwin.
