Lee Edward Stewart of Indianapolis, formerly of Montezuma, age 60, died January 4, in Wishard Hospital at Indianapolis, He was born in Indiana, April 18, 1921, the son of Wallace and Okla Versa Wise Stewart. He had been employed as an upholsterer.
Survivors include a daughter, Rose Rasmussen of Pampa, Texas; a son, Jessie of Covington; a sister, Hazel Crum of Dana; a brother, Gloyd of Indianapolis; four stepchildren and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Brown Funeral Home in Montezuma with Rev. Randy Williams officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery at Montezuma.
