Wes was born October 1, 1985 in Springfield, the son of Earl and Lisa Brammer Suggs.
Wes graduated from Southeast High School and was attending Lincoln Land Community College. He worked part-time at the Inn at 835 and had previously worked as an ironworker in Ironworkers Union Local 46. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Springfield. He enjoyed playing guitar, writing and skateboarding. He loved his nephew and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Darlene Brammer and his grandfather, Earl Suggs, Sr.
He is survived by his parents Earl and Lisa Suggs of Springfield; two brothers, Nick and Randy Suggs of Springfield; grandfather, Bill Brammer of Springfield; grandmother, Brenda Suggs of Springfield; great grandmother, Helen Suggs of Springfield; aunt, Vickie (Dave) Formea; nephew, Hayden Lee Hampson-Suggs; two cousins, Kim (Garret) Griffitts and Tony (Jodie) Formea; girlfriend Lindsey Holsapple and his dog Chino.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.
Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following the visitation.
A memorial ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Thomas Radtke officiating.
