Margaret T. Self 82 of Moss Point passed away Monday, December 14, 2009.
Mrs. Self was born on Christmas day in 1926 to the late Irby and Thelma Trawick in Billingsley, AL. For 35 years her face and smile greeted many at the Jackson County Tax Collector's office, where she retired in 1993. She was a member of Helena Baptist Church. She was a kind and caring mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lois "Pug" McCord.
She is survived by three sons, Sammy W. Self (Barbara) of Alabaster, AL, James C. Self ( Billie Jean) of Lucedale, MS. and Billy N. Self (Rhonda) of Bay Springs, MS; one brother, James Calvin Trawick (Issie) of Birmingham, AL ; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 10:00am at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, AL. on Friday, December 18, 2009.
