"He closed his eyes in peaceful slumber and awakened with loved ones. "Kenneth Dean Kunz passed away March 5, 1994 in his sleep.

He was born November 22, 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Logan and Virginia Pollard Kunz. Graduate of Murray High School, 1981. He married Julie Dawn Wilbur on September 7, 1990 in Provo, Utah.

He was a man of great courage and many talents. He was widely known for his gift of making children happy as "Ken, the Christmas Elf." He had a great love for children and spent countless hours entertaining them. In 1988 he realized a lifelong goal to work as a major Disneyland character. He was currently working for Nevada Tours. He was equally capable of entertaining adults and brought happiness to all. He is loved and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his parents; wife and children: Jason, age 3; and Rachel, age 5; also his sister, Mary Joyce Smith; and brothers, Myron, Robert, Gary and Ronald Kunz.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 10th, 2 PM, in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 10600 South 1700 East, in Sandy, where a viewing will be held Wednesday evening, 6-8 PM, and on Thursday, one hour before the service. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens."
