Reynold M. Darst

Funeral for Reynold M. Darst, who died at a Portland hospital Tuesday after an extended illness, will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Little Chapel of the Chimes. Interment will be at Skyline Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Darst resided at 1423 N. Skidmore Street. He was born November 19, 1897, in Pana, Ill., and came to Portland in 1928. He was a retired yardmaster for the Spokane, Portland & Seattle railway, where he was employed 39 years.

He was a member of Railroad Yardmasters of America, POE No. 142 and Mt. Hood lodge, AF&AM, No. 157.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Hazel G. Darst; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Lee Ochsner and Mrs. Mary Alice Grieson, both of Portland, and Mrs. Shirley E. Kangiser, Ocean Lake; two sisters, Mrs. A.H. Kehrl, Grand Rapids, Mich., and Mrs. Charles Tanory, Portland; three brothers, Glenn Darst, Ft. Worth, Tex.; Sydney Darst, St. Marys, Idaho, and Dr. Harold Darst, Greeley, Colo., and six grandchildren.
