Charles S. Biddle, 62, an adjutant in the Salvation Army who formerly was stationed here, died Friday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edith Mullett, in Peru. The deceased had been in failing health for several months and died as a result of a complication of diseases.
Funeral services will be conducted in Kokomo but a time had not been definitely set Saturday afternoon. Burial will be made in Crown Point cemetery.
Surviving are seven children and one brother. The children, besides Mrs. Mullett, are Sheldon of Kokomo, Charles, Norman, Robert and Harry of Peru and Thelma of Anderson. The brother is Curt Biddle of Terre Haute.
