Blanche I. Eads, 93, Kokomo, died at 5:30 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at Sycamore Village. She
was born April 27, 1910, in Brocksburg, the daughter of Clifford and Katherine (Wright) Gray. On
Feb. 5, 1929, in Kokomo, she married Hollis A. Eads. Her husband of 65 years preceded her in
death Feb. 9, 1994. She was a homemaker. She attended Highland Park Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and embroidery.
She is survived by four sons, Wendell and wife Phyllis Eads, Kokomo, Donald and wife Nancy Eads,
Kokomo, Ted and wife Shirley Eads, Kokomo, and Harold and wife Catherine Eads, Kokomo; one
daughter, Martha and husband Terry Widner, Kokomo; 13 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 26
great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and three step-great grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and four sisters.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Murray Funeral Home, 414 W. Jefferson St. Rev. Edward
Vasicek and Rev. Andrew Green will officiate. Internment will be in Crown Point Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to
the American Cancer Society in her memory.
