William Bryan Baker, 80, of Yucaipa, died Thursday November 9, at Braswell's Colonial Care in Redlands.
He was born November 1, 1915 in Clay County, Kentucky, the son of Robert and Flora (Ball) Baker. He lived in Yucaipa for two years, coming from Beaumont where he had lived from 1954-1993.
He was the owner and operator of Baker's for 14 years and Chevron gas station for 10 years on the corner of Sixth and Euclid.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as Staff Sergeant.
He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter #90 of Redlands.
He is survived by one son, Wayne B. Baker of Yucaipa; one daughter, Linda D. Cozzolino of Redlands; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; four brothers, Bill Baker of Tempe, Arizona, Herb Baker of Oregon, Cliff Baker of Florida and Bob Baker of Beaumont; two sisters, Cleo King of Indiana and Vergie Jones of Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, at Weaver Mortuary Chapel.
Interment will be at Stewart Sunnyslope Cemetery in Beaumont.
