"William H. Armbrecht Jr. was born in Mobile November 1, 1908, and his parents were William H. and Anne Bell Paterson Armbrecht of Mobile.
"William's education was gained in the Mobile Public Schools and the University of Alabama where he was graduated from the Law School in 1932. He is a member of Alpha Tau Omega and Phi Delta Phi.
"he married on October 8, 1927 Miss Katherine Little, Daughter of Con R. and Clara Ross Little.
"William is senior member of the law firm of Armbrecht, Jackson & Demouy and is President of the Alabama Tennessee & Northern Rail Road. He is a Director of the First National Bank of Mobile and a Director of Southern Industries.
"He is a member of the Mobile Kiwanis Club, Mobile Country Club, Athelstan Club, Isle Dauphine Country Club, International Trade Club, Lunch Club of New York City; a Director and Vice President of the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce; Director, Mobile Area Public Higher Education Foundation; Director of Mobile Industrial Development Board; Director, Mobile Industrial Parks Board; and a Trustee of the Julius T. Wright School for Girls.
"Besides the two years he served as President, William has been a member and Chairman of the Design Committee, and Vice President.
"His father, the late William H. Armbrecht, was a member, and his brother Conrad P. Armbrecht and son William H. Armbrecht III are members of the OOMs."
