WESTFIELD___Mrs. Clara Alice Ballard, 88, W. Jersey St., Westfield, died early this morning at her residence after a long illness.
The deceased was born in Hamilton County on June 7, 1881, daughter of John Riley and Mary (Chandler) Gunn. She was the widow of Frank Ballard deceased in 1937. She belonged to the Maple Park Wesleyan Church, Westfield.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Esther Smith, with whom she made her home; Mrs. Mildred Ballard; two sons,Harry, Westfield; Roy, Carmel; 10 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.
