Our loving grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend passed away on Jan. 2, 2002 due to complications of pneumonia.

She was born on April 2, 1906 in North Ogden, Utah to James Alma Bailey and Ellen Shaw. She married Sherman Read (Pete) Couch on June 6, 1930 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Lottie graduated from Weber College and then enjoyed working at the University of Utah book store for many years. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served on the General Primary Board. She had a great love for her family. She loved to be around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved working in her garden and had an incredible will to live. She will be dearly missed.
