The funeral of Mrs. Mary C.(Caldwell) Fleming, who passed to her reward Jan. 7th, 1918 at the home of her daughter (Annie Snoke) in Clearfield, was held from the Methodist church yesterday afternoon, Rev. J. Max Lantz, pastor of the church, officiating.

The deceased was aged 76 years, 10 months, and 13 days. She was married to Thomas W. Fleming Dec. 31st, 1862, and spent most of her married life in Curwensville.

The deceased united with the M.E. Church at Centre at the age of 15. She was an earnest, conscientious Christian, a devoted wife, a tender affectionate mother and loyal neighbor and friend.

She is survived by her four children, two sons, Roy of Pittsburgh, Carl of Washington, DC., Mrs. N.(Nathan) Lawhead of Centre, Mrs. Frank Snoke of Clearfield.

Interment was made in Oak Hill cemetery beside her husband who passed away July 1875.
