He and his wife, came to Franklin County in November 1869. They took up a farm and have lived on it ever since.

Gentry of Richmond; forty grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two brothers: G. W. Gentry and Thomas Gentry, both of Drexel, MO.
