Rita D. Healy, 86, of Darby, died Dec. 16 at St. Francis Country House in the borough.
Mrs. Healy was born in Philadelphia to the late Daniel and Mary Almeida, and had resided in Darby since 1956. She had lived at St. Francis for the past three years.
A longtime member of Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Darby, Mrs. Healy was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was the widow of Joseph P. Healy Sr., who died in 1984, and the mother of the late Jacqueline Bur, who died in 2004.
Survivors: Son, Joseph G. Healy Sr. and his wife, Margaret, of Darby, with whom Mrs. Healy resided before going to St. Francis Country House; five grandchildren; one great-grandson.
Service: Mass, 10 a.m. Monday, Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Darby.
Visitation: 8:45 a.m. Monday, Marvil Funeral Home, 1110 Main St., Darby.
Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
