MAJORS, ROBERT CHARLES - age 72, of Knoxville, died 11:41 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 1999 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He attended Grove City Baptist Church. Member of RAM. Retired from The Tennessee State Guard.

Survivors: wife, Shirley Majors of Knoxville; daughters, Robin Ervin of Andersonville, Judi Ehler of Glenham, New York; step-daughters, Kelly Ramsey and Deborah Kennedy, both of Knoxville; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Kennedy, Cleo Davis, Edna Pratt and Katie Bruin; brother, Herbert Majors, all of Knoxville.

Family and friends will meet at the main entrance to Tennessee Veterans Cemetery 9:45 a.m. Tuesday for a 10 a.m. graveside service and interment. Chaplain Bob Mize officiating. Military Honors will be provided by The Tennessee State Guard.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Ave. at Broadway.
