Phyllis F. Lutzke Tadych, a resident of Little Falls, MN, died April 28, 2003, at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held May 2 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls with Rev. Nicholas Landsberger officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Phyllis was born Sept. 26, 1912, in Buh Township, Morrison County, MN to the late John and Philomena Boser. She grew up in Buh Township and attended country school. She worked on the family farm until her marriage to Frank J. Lutzke on Oct. 6, 1931, in St. John's Nepomuk Catholic Church in Lastrup, MN. The couple farmed in Belle Prairie Township and later, south of Brainerd until Frank passed away in March, 1949. Phyllis sold the farm and moved into Little Falls. She was united in marriage to Anthony Tadych on Aug. 27, 1951 in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls. The couple farmed near Gilman, MN; Grey Eagle MN and then near Flensburg, MN until retiring to Little Falls in 1969. Phyllis worked as a cook at the Royal Café in Little Falls and later as a home health aide for St. Gabriels' Hospital. She also worked as a seamstress at Munsingwear in Little Falls until retiring in 1979. In 2000, she became a resident of St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls. Phyllis enjoyed traveling, making quilts, playing cards, yodeling and dancing. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and later, St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Phyllis F. Lutzke Tadych is survived by her children; LeRoy Lutzke and wife Lucky of Osseo, MN, Donald Lutzke and wife Wanda of Motley, MN, Roger Lutzke and wife Doris of Little Falls, Sylvester Tadych and wife Marge of Milaca, MN, Tony Tadych and wife Mary of Aurora, CO, Mike Tadych and wife Marlene of St. Joseph, MN, Judy Wiese and husband Carl of Rockford, MN, Barbara Farrier and husband, Arthur of Watersmeet, MI, Jeanne Atkinson and husband, Richard of Woodridge, IL, Dorothy Gadacz of Foley, MN, Theresa Tschida of Grey Eagle, MN, Lucille Czech and husband, Sylvester of Little Falls, and Judy Sanoski and husband Ed of Little Falls,; 52 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank Lutzke in March, 1949, husband Anthony ‘ Tony' Tadych in March, 1985, four brothers, three sisters and a grandson, Anthony Lutzke.

Honorary pallbearers were Cindy Erchul, Debra DeShambo, Jennifer Farrier, Rebecca Anakkala, Cathy Johnson, Brenda Lutszke, Tamara Atkinson, DeAnn Link, Cheryl Hlad and Chrissy Hlad.

Pallbearers were Dennis Hlad, LeRoy Lutzke, Adam Lutzke, Brian Lutzke, David Farrier and Travis Atkinson.
