Kenai resident David P. Adams, 41, died Sept. 18, 1999, in Seattle. A memorial service was held at the New Life Assembly of God Church in Kenai. Pastor Steve Brown officiated. Interment followed at the Kenai Municipal Cemetery.
Mr. Adams was born Oct. 11, 1957, in Coldwater, Mich. Mr. Adams moved to Anchorage in 1982. After meeting his wife, Jeanine, they moved to Kenai in 1984. He worked for the Orca Theater in Kenai for eight years. Mr. Adams is survived by his wife of 15 years, Jeanine of Kenai; daughters, Lanell and Rebecca Adams of Kenai; mother and stepfather, Thursta and Jim Hayword of Wasilla; brother, Thurman Adams of California; sisters, Bonnie Ritter of Anchorage, Paula Corell of Michigan, and Becky Adams of Anchorage; uncle and aunt, Thurman and Lillie Montgomery of Bakersfield, Calif.; mother- and father-in-law, Pat and Wayne Gifford of Kenai; brothers-in-law, John and Patrick Gifford of Kenai; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dennis and Kelly Gifford of Kenai; sister-in-law, Kim Gifford of Kenai. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to First National Bank of Anchorage, Account no. 19708205, 11408 Kenai Spur Highway, Kenai 99611. Arrangements were by Peninsula Memorial Chapels.
