Arline Virginia Berrier, of Chesterfield, widow of Archie Ray Berrier, died Thursday, June 29, 2006 at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Louise Tiller Jordan; father, Pleasant Wiley Jordan; brothers, Ernest Bailey Jordan and Clyde Lee Jordan; and her sister, Louise Pearl Trammell.
She is survived by her two children, Wray B. Hughes and Cathy B. Sperling and her husband, Ronald; grandchildren, Charles E. Hughes Jr., Matthew D. Hughes and Amanda K. Sapp and her husband, Christopher; great-grandchildren, Kameron Leigh and Skye McKinsey Sapp; sister, Sarah Elizabeth Spangler; brother, Pleasant Wiley Jordan Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Weatherford Memorial Baptist Church for 40 years and a member of Lyndale Baptist Church for the past 19 years.
Her remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Road, where the family will receive friends Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, July 3. Interment Maury Cemetery.
