The truck driver swerved onto the berm to avoid the tractor. Seeing the truck, Ward also swerved onto the berm, but into the truck's path. The truck driver could not stop in time, and struck the tractor. Ward was thrown from the tractor, and was dead when an ambulance crew arrived, said Morgan County Coroner Thomas Neal. An autopsy was to be conducted today at Morgan County Memorial Hospital. The truck driver, Clayton J. Bradley, 39, of Henerson, Ky., was not charged in the accident.
