Ann was born the daughter of the late Dr. James W. McMonagle and Martha Flynn McMonagle. A teacher for 35 years, she retired in 1990 from the Christina School District. She was a devout Catholic throughout her life. Her beloved husband, Joseph B. Baker, died in 1952. She is survived by her son, Andrew J. Baker of New Castle; her daughters, Joanne P. Lutz of New Castle; and Kathleen M. Hansen of Morgantown, WV; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and her brother, William F. McMonagle of Philadelphia.
