Donald L. Crawford,68, of Dry Ridge, Mayport, died on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at his residence.

Born May 1, 1941, in Porter Township, Clarion County, he was the son of Frank Crawford and Sarah a. 'Rose' (Keller) Shaffer.

He married Sheila G. Dean on July 18, 1964.

Don served in the US Navy and Navy reserves. He was a farmer and salesman for Maple Mountain Equipment in Frogtown. He enjoyed hunting, farming and tractor pulls.

He also enjoyed spending time with his grand-daughter Hope.

In addition to his wife, survivors include two children, Larry Crawford and his wife, Holly of Mayport and Terry Crawford of Mayport; a granddaughter, Hope Crawford of Mayport; and a sister, Jean Hartle and her husband, John of Shippenville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Crawford and William Crawford.

Funeral services were held November 24, 2009 at the Alcorn Funeral Home, Hawthorn with the Rev. Robert Ryver, pastor of the Grace Baptist Church in New Bethlehem, officiating.

Interment was in Mount Tabor Cemetery, Armstrong County, Redbank Township.
