Ruby Evelyn Rankin, age 92 was born in Clinton County, March 20, 1917, the daughter of the late Blaine and Ella Andrews Campbell. Ruby departed this life Saturday, September 5, 2009 at the Wayne County Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence "Mutt" Rankin, one son Phillip Allen Rankin and one daughter who died in infancy, sisters: Lucile Campbell and Mildred Mcwhorter, brothers John Granville Campbell and James Edwin Campbell. Two half sisters Betty Sue Robbins, and Anna Mae Piercey and one half brother William A. Nunn. She had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the First Christian Church.
