George Cobb , 77, a native of Nineveh and widely known in this community died at the Bartholomew County Hospital at 3:00 pm yesterday. Funeral services in charge of Reverend Richard Gates will be held at the Flannigan Reed Funeral Home, Columbus at 3pm tomorrow. Friends may call at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Columbus Garland Brook Cemetery. Mr. Cobb is survived by his wife, Lula, and a brother, Emmett Cobb of Lowell, Mass. He was born in Nineveh, the son of Warren and Ida Belle Cobb and was retired employee of the of the Indianapolis, Columbus and Southern Railroad Company. Brothers preceding in death were Charles, Roscoe and Ralph Cobb.
