Graveside services for Charles Bruce Calhoun, 70, of Athens are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Oaklawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Aubrey Cooper officiating. Arrapgements are under the direction of Foster & Brown Funeral Home of Athens.

Mr. Calhoun died Jan. 7, 2000, in Athens.

He was born June 20, 1929, in Henderson County to Ben and Nettie Wilkerson Calhoun.

Mr. Calhoun was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Dewey Calhoun.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Vonnah Calhoun of Athens; sons and daughters-in-law, Troy and Joy Calhoun of Athens and Charles and Linda Morton of Athens; daughter and son-in-law, Adonna and Jimmy Ford of Athens; grandchildren, Ben and Melissa Calhoun, I Stoney Henson, Amy Calhoun, Tonya Morrison, Fonda Splawn and Matthew Morton, all of Athens; and great-grandchildren, Haley Calhoun and Kailey Morrison, both of Athens
