The obituary on the title page is not correct. I am his great granddaughter. He was predeceased by his son, John Sullivan Whitaker (87736436). He was survived by his wife -my Great grandmother Ethel (71938636); 2 sons: my grandfather, Robert Fulton Whitaker (71938247) and Roger McMillan Whitaker (88865204), and one daughter Sara Elizabeth Whitaker (not on findagrave, since she was cremated 1988); later married and became Sara Reid). It is correct that he only had one grandchild at the time of his death. Not sure where the name referred to as his daughter came from. Transcription error maybe?
