James was married twice

1) 23 Mar 1912 • Big Roch, Montmorency, Michigan, USA to Otho Wava Yords; he was granted a divorce in July 1931, grounds were desertion. They had 3 children, 2 sons and 1 girl. I found Florence Eleanor Spencer listed in 1930 as an Inmate at Montana State Orphans' Home. The 2 boys, Lyle James Spencer & Fred Lavern Spencer listed as Student at Montana State Industrial School.
