Mr. Coffey was twice married. His first wife was the mother of Mr. J.N. Coffey, and by his last wife, who died several years ago, there are four or five children, one here and the others in Texas.

Mrs. John A. Coffey Dead.

On Wednesday, the 29th day of May, Mris. Julia Coffey, wife of John A. Coffey, died at her late home, McGregor, Texas. She was a victim of typhoid fever and was sick several weeks. She was a very excellent Christian woman, and her death was a surprise and a shock to her many friends of Grady-ville, this county, where she resided before taking her departure. To the sorrowing husband and bereft children we tender our sympathy.
