Troy Franklin Reid Sr.,52,of 1871 Bethlea Ave. died Sunday in a local hospital after a short illness. Services will be held at 3 p.m. wednesday in the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Tommy Toles will officiate .
Mr. Reid was employed by the Bibb County School System as a bus driver.He was a member of Morning Side Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Mrs.Effie C. Reid of Macon ; Five daughters,Mrs. Brenda Cruse of Tennessee,Mrs. Faye Brannon of Alpharetta,Mrs. Marie Mullimax of Austell,Mrs. Evie Shwarez of Forest Park, and Mrs. Ann Harrison of Loganville; a son Troy Reid Jr. of Atlanta; his father ,J.C. Reid of Macon,a sister ,Mrs. Betty Barnett of Atlanta; Six brothers the Rev. Fred Reid,Jerry Reid,Bobby Gene Reid,Jimmy Reid and Bill Reid,all of Macon,three stepbrothers ,Lamar Walls ,Charles Wallsand Allen Walls all of Atlanta; and a stepsister Mrs. Betty Robinson of Atlanta.
