Wilson, OK — .Funeral Services for Tesa Renee Hill, 38, of Wilson are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, December 24, 2009, at Alexander Funeral Chapel in Wilson with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will follow at Reck Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.
Tesa was born August 24, 1971, at Honolulu, Hawaii, to Mr. James Arthur Hill, Sr. and Mrs. Teresa Tia Goode. She departed this life Saturday December 19, 2009, at Wilson.
Tesa was raised as part of military family residing mostly in Texas. In school she was always very athletic and enjoyed playing sports. Tesa was always very outgoing and full of life. She was a very giving individual that enjoyed helping others. Her son, Cpl. Clinton Coy Blodgett preceded her in death on May 26, 2007, at Baghdad, Iraq, during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Since then, Tesa has resided at Indiana and Oklahoma. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go camping and enjoyed making everyone smile. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Also preceding her in death are her grandparents.
Survivors include her daughter, Jessica Blodgett and Caleb Bierly of Salem, Ind.; son, D.J. Blodgett and wife Laci, also of Salem, Ind.; mother, Tia Schmid of Somerville, Texas; father James Arthur Hill, Sr. of Iowa; fiancé, Mike Harrison of Wilson; brother, James Arthur Hill, Jr. and wife Tamara of Washington, D.C.; grandmother, Myrna Dodson of Somerville, Texas; two grandchildren, Charles Don Blodgett, Jr. and Braxton Nipp.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Bierly, Jody Blodgett, D.J. Blodgett, Shawn Sanders, Don Blodgett, and James Hill, Jr.
Family visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. this evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
