Nilsa E. Acunis, age 84, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2009 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Isaac "Ike" Acunis. Her survivors include her children, Judi (Andy) Grimes, Fran (Bruce) Graham and Lynn (Tim) Bowers; grandchildren, Greg (Stacie) and Justin Grimes, Chelsea, Iain, Clayton and Emily Graham, Brandon, Brian and Bradley Bowers; brother, Wilfred (Ana) del Manzano; sister-in-law, Mary Ganulin; brother-in-law, Joe Acunis; and other relatives and friends. Nilsa was a member of First Alliance Church, 3750 W. Henderson Rd., Columbus, Oh. 43220, where a funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2009 with Rev. Burt Manchester officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, Oh. 43085 and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
