Rites Today for Countian's Kin
Funeral services for the brother of a Raleigh Countian will be held at 2 pm today at Wardensville.
He is C J Allen, Winchester, Va, brother of Mrs George Stennett, Midway.
Allen died at the Winchester Memorial Hospital after an extended illness at 7:30 pm Friday.
Surviving in addition to his sister are: a daughter, Kathleen Vance, Wardensville; a brother, Edgar V Allen, Richwood; seven sisters, Mrs J D Carnifix, Huntington;Mrs Bessie Combs, Akron, O ; Mrs C N Cooke, Charleston; Mrs Ethel Easter, Princeton; Mrs W C Kent, Poca; Mrs W R McCombs, Plymouth, NC; and Mrs Own Dolley, Charleston; two granddaughters.
