Dennis Lee Lyon, 56, of Shelley, passed away November 20, 2009 at his home from natural causes.

He was born February 15, 1953 in Shelley to Charles C. Lyon and Hazel Petersen Lyon. He grew up in Basalt and attended school in Firth and graduated from Firth High School.

He had worked for Ermal's for many years in the body and fender business. He was a member of the LDS Church. He loved to fish, hunt and spend time in the mountains. He also enjoyed playing cards.

He is survived by his 3 children; Dixie Lyon of Blackfoot, Shane Lyon of Idaho Falls and Rebecca Lyon of Idaho Falls. 8 Brothers and Sisters; Allan (Barbara) Lyon of Shelley, Larry (Jesse) Lyon of Shelley, Emma (Dex) Moesser of Provo, Utah, Max (LaDene) Lyon of Idaho Falls, Norman (Donna) Lyon of Idaho Falls LaRae (Melvin) Ball of Idaho Falls, Darrell (Debbie) Lyon of Idaho Falls and David Lyon of Idaho Falls and 2 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday November 29, 2008 at the Goshen Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley.
