Mrs. Fielding Beeler, one of the early settlers of this county, died at the family home near Maywood at 1:25 o'clock this morning.
She was the daughter of John & Martha Doak Mars and was born on a farm on which Greensburg, Indiana now stands. Her parents moved to Marion County about 1837, locating on a farm southwest of the city.
She was married to Fielding Beeler on September 18, 844. The following spring, they began housekeeping on the farm where they lived ever since. A year ago on the 18th of August, they celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary, surrounded by a host of friends and relatives.
Mrs. Beeler leaves a husband, three daughters, a son, and a brother. The funeral will take place at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at Crown Hill.
