Tom Davis resident of the Pleasant Grove District, died Monday at his home about nine miles southwest of Lincoln. Tom had been engaged in farming in that section for years.
Death came suddenly as he suffered a slight stroke Sunday and Monday the second and more severe came which he could not survive. Tom as he was known, was a typical good fellow, always in good humor and enjoyed associating and talking with his friends and everyone who knew him was his friend.
Such sad incidents as this reminds us, "While we are in life we are in death."
A wife and several children, some of which are grown, mourn his lose and the community mourns with them and we extend to the family our heartfelt sympathy in their sad bereavement.
