Addison M. Catterson, manager of the Goyert-Vogel poultry house of Shoals and one of the best-known citizens of Martin County, died early this morning at the Methodist Hospital at Indianaolis where he had been some weeks taking treatment for heart trouble and complicated ailments. He was 59 years old and had lived in Shoals all his life. He had held various offices in the town and was at one time the Republican County Chairman.
His wife, Amanda Payne of Kokomo, survives him. There are two daughters, both of whom survive: Mrs. Edith Garrison of Newcastle; and Mrs. Claude Armstrong of Shoals. Three sisters, Mrs. Benjamin Johnson of Shoals; Mrs. Jane Stotts and Mrs. Anna Baxter of Indianapolis; and a brother, Thomas of Indianapolis, survive.
The funeral will be held Friday at Indianapolis and the remains buried at Crown Hill Cemetery.
