Joseph Garshwiler, a former resident of Franklin, died at his home Wednesday of last week from heart trouble. He was seventy-one years of age. He moved from this city to Indianapolis several years ago. While a resident of Franklin he carried on a business of watchmaking and repairing. Of late years he has been engaged in real estate business. Mr. Garshwiler was a brother of Mrs. M. M. Payne.
