Private graveside services for Frederick H. Day, Sr., 86, formerly of Indianapolis, will be Wednesday in Crown Hill Cemetery. Day died Tuesday in his home in Vero Beach, Florida.
He was a native of Indianapolis and owned a mortgage and loan company here until his retirement 16 years ago. Day was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was a graduate of Andover College and Yale University.
Survivors--widow, Ruth Y.; daughter, Mrs. Stewart R. Smith; son, Frederick, Jr.; sister, Mrs. James Y. Simpson.
