James E Ringenberger, native of Indianapolis, entered into rest Friday, November 21, 1986 after a long illness.
Mr. Ringenberger was a Naval veteran of WW II, where he served in communications. He attended Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis and Indiana University, majoring in pharmaceutical science.
Retiring in 1973 from the US Postal Service and pharmacist at Frejie's Pharmacy, Mr Ringenberger was the son of the late Edward and Alberta "Betty" Ringenberger of Indianapolis.
Mr Ringenberger is survived by his wife, Helen M (Lewis) and five children: Judith A (Stephen) Holmes Indianapolis, Joan M (Donald) Coram, Charlotte, NC, James E (Linda) Ringenberger, Bethlehem, PA, Jerri L (Charles) Cox, Sugar Land, TX, and John D (Michelle) Ringenberger, Augusta, IL. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Conkles and Sons Funeral Home, Speedway. Visitation is Monday, November 24 at 7:30 pm and funeral services will be Tuesday, November 25, starting at 11 am, with burial following at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
