Charles R. Underwood, 65 years old, vice president of the Citizens' State Bank, died at his home at the Arlington apartments early yesterday morning (February 3 per Indiana Death Certificate). Mr. Underwood was born in Yorktown, Indiana and was in the dry goods business at Noblesville for about twenty years. He was later with the Renard Company of St. Louis. Mr. Underwood lived here for about twenty years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Knights of Pythias. He is survived by his widow and one son, Dr. George V. Underwood. The funeral will be held at the home of his son on North New Jersey Street.
