Dan Bain Dies.
Newkirk, July 20. - Dan A. Bain, former Kay county sheriff, died at his home in Newkirk at 3 o'clock Saturday morning after an illness which had lasted for several years and which became acute in the past few months. He was approximately 80 years of age.
Bain was formerly in the autombile business in Newkirk, having the Ford agency here for several years. He was sheriff for two terms from 1919 to 1923. He owned considerable property in the city.
Funeral services will be in charge of the Hill Funeral Home here but dates had not been announced Saturday noon.
