He was the son of Hugh Perrie and Ann Tarman Perrie.
On April 23, 1889, he married Lilie Conrad.

Death of Justice A.W. Perrie.
Justice Albert W. Perrie, of Towson, died last night at the City Hospital. He was well known and highly respected throughout the county and was a fluent speaker. He was born in Prince George's County 63 years ago and served through the Civil War in the Confederate Army with Stonewall Jackson's Brigade. After the war, he was graduated in law from the University of Virginia and afterward settled in Towson, where he practiced for many years at the Towson bar. He was Justice of the Peace for more than 20 years. He is survived by a stepson, Dr. Robert Rind, of Springfield, Ohio.
