Shelby A. Barton, 37-year-old farmer, died this morning at a local hospital. He made his home at 1707-1/2 Beattie street. Mr. Barton was born at Frazer and had been a resident of Buchanan County all his life. He was member of Frazer Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Leona Barton of the home; two sons, Theodore Barton, St. Joseph and Lawrence Barton of the home; his father, John B. Barton, Agency, Mo.; four brothers, Arthur Barton, DeKalb; W. H. Barton, Agency; Robert Barton, Mound City, Mo., and Cecil Barton, Independence, Mo., and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Ruoff, Gower, Mo. and Mrs. Dorothy Ritchheart, St. Joseph. The body is at Rupp's.

Services for Shelby A. Barton will be held at 2 tomorrow afternoon in the Agency Baptist Church. The Rev. Leon Huffstutter will officiate. Burial will be in Agency Cemetery. Mr. Barton died yesterday morning at a local hospital. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Rupp mortuary.

Pallbearers at services for Shelby A. Barton at 2 this afternoon at the Baptist Church at Agency, Mo. will be Joseph Wright, Lee Auxier, J. T. Downing, Roderick Hyatt, Rolla Burk and Harold Conroy. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Rupp mortuary. Mr. Barton died Wednesday at a local hospital.
