She was born October 22, 1922 at Nounan, the daughter of Edgar Elias and Lucy Crossley Johnson. She married Loran A. Hayes October 03, 1940 in the Salt Lake City Temple. Mr. Hayes died July 06, 1991.
She graduated from Fielding High School in Paris. She lived in Ovid until she got married, the loved in Georgetown from 1940 until 1961, when they moved to Soda Springs.
She was and active member of the LDS Church, she was a member of the Soda Springs LDS third ward. She held many positions in Primary, Mutual and Relief Society. She served an LDS mission with her husband in Arizona in 1981. She was presently working at the Family History Center.
She is survived by five daughters and their spouses, Karen and Dale Rasmussen, Rupert; Nola and Randy Romaine, Idaho Falls; Karyl and Nick Faulkner, Layton, Utah; Diane and Jay Christensen, Georgetown; and Lori and Jody Muir, Wayan; also surviving are 28 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and a brother, Howard Johnson, Georgetown. She was proceed in death by a grandson and a great-grandson and a sister.
Funeral Services were held on January 15 at 2 p.m., at the Soda Springs LDS Stake Center with Bishop Blair Winward officiating. Burial was in the Georgetown Cemetery.
