Funeral services for Billy Dean Ater, 23, of Argenta will be at 1:15 pm tomorrow in the Moran's funeral home. Masonic rites will be conducted by the Argenta Masonic Lodge of which he was a member and burial will be in the Point Pleasant cemetery.
Mr. Ater drowned at 3:45 pm Sunday at Porter Beach, Porter, Ind. near the Indiana Dunes State Park. He was a University of Chicago student for the past two years.
He was born on April 17, 1936 in Macon county. He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Ater, two sisters, Mrs. Betty Terrell, Murphysboro and Mrs. Bernadine Higgins of Argenta.
