John H. Akins 91 of Louisville passed away Friday December 25, 2009 at his home. He was preceded in death by his Wife: Ruby Russell Akins, Son: Ross Akins, Grandchildren: Ricky Akins, and Sandra Kay Ferguson, Parents: Charlie and Lydia Trout Akins. He is survived by his Daughter: Martha Ferguson of Maryville, Sixteen Grandchildren, and Special Granddaughters: Patricia Mason, and Janie Ferguson, Special Grandsons, David Mason, and Butch Ferguson, Brothers: Charles and Raymond Akins, Sister: Arizona Selvage all of Loudon, Many Great Grandchildren. Special friends: Angelia Donovan, and Penny Kizer. The family and friends will meet at 11:00 A.M. Monday December 28, 2009 at Morganton Cemetery for a Graveside service with Rev. Wayne Lairson officiating Friends may call at their convenience Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville until 5:00 P.M.
