Robert Edward Cornett, age 76, died Wednesday, March 1, at his home at St. Paul. He had been ill several weeks. Funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Robt. Reed and Rev. Jake Drake at the St. Paul community church Sunday, 2:00 p.m., and interment will be made in the Brashears cemetery. The arrangements will be in charge of the Bruce Brashears Undertaking Co.
Mr. Cornett was a native of Kentucky but had been a well known resident of south Madison county, Arkansas, many years. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. J. C. Johnston of Oklahoma City, Boyd Cornett of La Habra, Cali., Kelley Cornett of Fayetteville, Mrs. Essie Osburn of Harmony, Ark., Loyd Cornett of Madill, Okla., Mrs. Jasper Hawkins and Mrs. Freeman Shuster of Huntsville, Mrs. Eunice Milligan and Bessie Cornett of St. Paul. Two sisters, Mrs. J. S. Miller and Emma Cornett of Huntsville, also survive him, and there are 28 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
